What’s New @ Avatar Bizarre (World Goth Fair)

May 14, 2014

It’s that time of year again, folks. World Goth Fair is hoving into view, so here’s a preview of the things you can get from Avatar Bizarre, starting on May 15!  The Fair opens at Noon on May 15 and can be found here:  http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Cursed/66/68/1016

First up:

The Mitternacht Hatter is the latest in Avatar Bizarre’s line of Lewis Carroll inspired outfits for the discerning Goth. This is a partial mesh outfit with a rigged coat and rigged boots. All the other attachments are unrigged and resizable. The pants and shirt are system layers. Four colors are available at the fair (red, purple, black, teal), with more coming once the fair ends.

Please try the demo first. Please note: If you have a mesh avatar, portions of this outfit will not show up on you.

Next up is an outfit inspired by And One’s “Panzermensch”. Guess the song I was listening to while modeling this coat! This is a partial mesh outfit as well, with rigged boots, and a rigged coat. All mesh attachments are unrigged and resizable. This one is also available in four colors at World Goth Fair (red, black, purple, teal). Again, a demo is available and I welcome you to try it out!

There is a gacha full of brand new Cthulhu shoulder pets. Each play is 20L, and the Cthulhus within are Mod/Transfer. However, if you’re a gacha-phobe, there is a mega pack of all fifteen colors available for 750L. These guys are Mod/Copy, and 50% of the proceeds go to the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.

Two different kinds of eyes have made their way into the Avatar Bizarre World Goth Fair collection: Inferi mesh eyes, and Cracked mesh eyes.

Inferi eyes are inspired by Roman legend. The Inferi were a collective of shadowy deities who were associated with death and the underworld. The Inferi represent the gods dark and horrifying nature. A skull features prominently in the pupil of the Inferi eye.

These are available in ten colors (three single colors are currently available at the fair, plus this enormous fat pack)! These are mesh, plus a system eye layer for the die hard system eyeball crowd. All eyes are Modify/Copy. Singles are 75L. 50% of the proceeds for the fat packs go to the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.

Here’s a close up of one of the colors:

Next, we encounter the Cracked Eyes. (Available as a fat pack, along with three single colors). A porcelain finish gives these eyes the illusion of having been fired in a kiln. The brushed on irises sit in the center of a luster of cracked glaze. Ten colors shine with an antique china polish.

I’d have put out more, but I kind of ran out of room. Cue Gothic “Oh woe is me!”

Last, but certainly not least, the gacha we’ve all been waiting for: THE HEADALOPOD!!

Headalopods love to cling to your head. There are twelve of them. Share and Enjoy.

They’re modify, and probably size way way down or up, so they will fit just about everyone.
